Dr. Kalin earned his medical degree from the University Of Toledo College Of Medicine, and completed his residency and fellowship at UH Case Medical Center. His special medical interests include treatment and diagnosis of Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS) and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Dr. Kalin is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management.

Dr. Kalin's hobbies include trying to improve his golf game (it's a work in progress!), playing in an intramural soccer league and enjoying skiing and mountain biking. His parents and sister live in Chicago, and he visits as regularly as possible.

Timothy Ko, MD
Interventional Pain Management Anesthesia

Dr. Ko is a native of northeastern Ohio and grew up in Youngstown.  He has never really left the area and has a strong commitment to the region.  He earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine (2003) and completed his anesthesiology residency (2007) and pain medicine fellowship (2008) at UH Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH.  He is board certified in pain management and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Ko believes in educating his patients on their pain conditions and encouraging patients to take control of their pain.  You will receive a comprehensive evaluation and recommendations based on his training in advanced pain management techniques.

His special medical interests include failed back surgery syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, spinal cord stimulation, and Ultrasound guided large and small joint injections.

Dr. Ko's hobbies include golfing, cooking, biking, supporting the local restaurants and watching his favorite teams (Browns, Cavs, Buckeyes) which can be painful. 


Maureen Murray, CNP
Adult Nurse Practitioner

Maureen Murray, CNP, is an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Cleveland State and her Masters in Nursing from Kent State University.

As a nurse practitioner, Maureen's goal is to offer a holistic approach towards each patient's management of their chronic pain. Maureen provides or coordinates multiple treatments, including physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, medications, health education and psychological counseling. Areas of interest include nutrition, sleep and smoking cessation, as they impact chronic pain patients.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons. She also enjoys quilting, yoga and walking.
